I have been a huge fan of group exercise classes since I dicovered them after the birth of my twins. My fitness level pretty much zero as I was carrying a lot of bab(ies) weight! I was tired and sluggish. I think all new mums can relate! I soon realised that hour out a week not only gave me some fitness and movement back, but I was finding it fun, meeting new people and having that all important hour out to myself!
Fast forward several years and I became more and more keen to do more and more classes. My fitness improved month on month, and the love of the classes made me yearn to teach them myself, so I undertook my Level 2 ETM (Bad timing as coincided with lockdown!). After a long drawn out 18 months, I passed, and have been teaching since.
The last 12 months have been tough with hitting perimenopuase myself and being diagnosed as neurodiverse, which I had never known.
I love teaching and welcome anyone to my classes- all ages, shapes, sizes, abilities - everyone. But I am also really keen to champion women who just don't feel themselves, have lost their way a bit and not sure what's happening to them. I have a very big heart, open channels of communication and just want everyone to feel heard, valued and the best version of themselves they can be.
